MarcomCentral Hosts 2016 User Conference 780 460 Jody Scheldt

Del Mar, CA – March 10, 2016 MarcomCentral®, a leading provider of cloud-based Marketing Asset Management and Variable Data Publishing solutions, hosted customers, prospective customers, and partners from across the nation at the L’Auberge Hotel in coastal San Diego for the 2016 User Conference. Attendees learned about current MarcomCentral products, future product development plans, and shared best practices amongst peers around marketing asset management. This year’s conference embraced knowledge sharing and innovation between top management and customers during the breakout sessions, town halls and networking events.

Over the course of two-days, sessions included the 2016 product roadmap, new feature enhancements and integrations, Q&A with Engineering, examples of sophisticated marketing portals, as well as customer presentations on use cases.

Dan Kellett, CTO, MarcomCentral, and Seny Sengupta, VP of Engineering, MarcomCentral, gave the audience a sneak peek into the new responsive design feature during the Product Roadmap town hall. The new portal design allows responsiveness to screen size and touch input, providing an enhanced user experience on any device including mobile.

Also during the conference, a new partnership with social media platform Lumentus Social was announced. This powerful new integration with MarcomCentral will give customers the ability to manage social media channels directly from their marketing portal and develop social campaigns that are easily delivered to field teams (sales, channel marketing, partners, franchises) throughout the organization to promote at will. This feature is expected to be available in early Q3 of this year.

“We have an outstanding group of customers in a variety of industries who are doing really exciting things with their marketing programs,” stated Coleman Kane, President & CEO, MarcomCentral. “The User Conference encourages an open dialogue between customers and management which gives us the opportunity to hear about new industry trends, learn what is most important to our customers from our software and in turn develop our products intelligently.”

In addition to the networking events, attendees candidly shared their problem-solving strategies for managing marketing content during the customer presentations. Many explained how they successfully implemented new marketing technology amongst their team and encouraged adoption within their organization. Users also explored how they use MarcomCentral to deliver global brand compliant materials to the teams they support locally.
